    This restaurant celebrates the best of Cartagena’s traditions. It’s 100% local in its outlook, created by a local family that like to showcase everything they love about their hometown return.

    It’s been especially curated for visitors looking for a special shorthand introduction to costeño culture.

    It's a year round mission that never goes to sleep because these guys are open 365 days a year.

    Adventurous spirits looking to savour some particularly Cartagenero flavours should try the Higadete soup. A hearty mix of chopped liver and plantain that's as warming and comforting as your childhood memories with your grandparents.

    Don’t go without trying the plantain en tentación, a sugary side made with plantain soaked in the local fizzy pop, Kola Roman.

    There’s a scintillating selection of ceviches to choose from as starters and a wicked, lobster bisque main course that will leave the rest of your group with a double dose of menu envy.

    As well as the food, sitting at the heart of the Candé experience is the folkloric dancers that bring the entertainment to your table every night from 19:30, weaving their way through the restaurant’s sophisticated surrounds.

    Carved out from one of Cartagena’s beautiful colonial mansions by celebrated local architect, Alberto Samudio, Candé’s interiors give the place a laidback but well-turned out feel that makes for a superior evening for groups or couples alike.
